Terms of use / Effective 1 January 2026
The reader's use agreement
These terms govern use of crimsonvalleybanter.live, published by Crimsonvalleybanter Systems Ltd, company no. 14963825, registered office: 24 High Street, Oxford, OX1 4AG, United Kingdom. Please read them before relying on or reusing our material.
Educational purpose
The publication provides general engineering explanations. It is not a vehicle design approval, safety case, certification, competition ruling or professional advice tailored to your circumstances. Nothing here authorises the construction, testing or operation of an automated vehicle.
Autonomous racing involves substantial physical risks. Practical work requires qualified personnel, appropriate facilities, current rules and a vehicle-specific assessment. Do not treat a conceptual diagram, simplified equation or software reference as a complete implementation specification.
Accuracy and changing information
We aim to explain the subject carefully, but material may contain errors or become outdated. Standards, software, competition requirements and manufacturer information can change. Check the applicable primary source and seek competent advice where a decision has safety, legal or financial consequences.
We may correct, revise or remove content. A successful demonstration described by another organisation does not imply our endorsement or establish suitability for a different vehicle or operating environment.
Permitted use and ownership
You may read, link to and print material for personal study or internal educational discussion, subject to applicable law. Copyright and other rights in original content remain with the publisher or relevant rights holders. Statutory quotation and other legal exceptions are unaffected.
Do not republish substantial portions, sell copies or present our work as your own without permission. When quoting within a lawful exception, identify the publication and link to the source where reasonably possible. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their owners.
Responsible access
Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the site, introduce malicious code or use our contact address for unlawful or abusive material. Automated access must not impose unreasonable load or circumvent technical restrictions.
Local tools and external references
The contact tool prepares a plain-text letter locally. Copying and downloading do not send it. You are responsible for checking its content, choosing a recipient and securing the resulting clipboard content or file. Availability of browser features may vary.
External links are provided for context. We do not control external sites, their availability, their content or their privacy practices. Inclusion of a reference does not imply partnership, approval or endorsement.
Liability and statutory rights
To the extent permitted by law, we do not provide warranties that the site is complete, error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for a particular engineering purpose. We are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on general editorial material where liability can lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your mandatory consumer and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections applicable where you live. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction except where applicable law entitles you to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Questions, permissions and concerns can be sent to [email protected]. See also our privacy notice and storage notice. Updated terms will be published on this page with their effective date.
